The theme of August Wilson's perform " Fences” is the arriving of age inside the life of the broken dark-colored man. Wilson wrote regarding the dark-colored experience in various decades and the struggle that many blacks faced, and that is observed in " Fences” because there are two different decades portrayed in Troy and Cory. Troy plays fault the protagonist who has recently been disillusioned through his your life by everyone he has been close to. He was forced to go away at an early age because his daddy beat him so drastically. Troy by no means learned how to treat persons close to him and this individual never offered any one a chance to prove themselves because he was selfish. Can make Troy the antagonist inside the story because he is not only hitting up against everybody in the enjoy, but he could be also hitting up against him self and eventually making his life more complicated.
